Concierge

My concierge work brings marketing, coordination, and organizing together around a practical question: what would make this person’s day or business easier to manage?

At a glance

  • Who it helps: Agents and businesses that need thoughtful hands-on support
  • The problem: Marketing and coordination can stall when the work lives between a big idea and a long to-do list.
  • My role: Service designer and hands-on marketing/coordination lead.
  • Define the marketing or coordination work before it begins
  • Develop service packages with clear scope and responsibilities
  • Offer related professional organizing through set contracts

The story

Some of my work is very practical: helping someone get the details of a business or a space into a more manageable shape. My concierge work brings together marketing support, coordination, and professional organizing. The common thread is paying attention to what someone is trying to do and working out what would actually help.

I’m also developing the way those services are offered. A useful service needs a clear scope, an understandable agreement, and a realistic finish line. The marketing-concierge offering and the separate professional-organizing work belong in that picture. I want people to know what they are asking for and what I’m responsible for delivering.

The part that appeals to me is the combination of judgment and follow-through. A plan matters, but so does taking care of the awkward little steps that keep it from happening. I’m trying to build services that feel thoughtful to the person receiving them and organized enough for me to deliver well. Some days, making life easier is a very worthwhile piece of work.
