AI Advantage

AI Advantage is the teaching work behind my interest in AI: familiar tasks, clear examples, and practical materials that help someone know what to try next.

At a glance

  • Who it helps: Leaders, teams, and entrepreneurs learning to use AI
  • The problem: New tools are overwhelming when people cannot connect them to a practical job.
  • My role: Educator, program creator, and creative director.
  • Teach familiar tasks through decks, workbooks, and exercises
  • Turn an inbox problem into a step-by-step capability card
  • Connect the explanation, the practice, and the material someone takes home

A decision behind the work

The challenge
Knowing an AI tool exists does not tell someone how to use it well.
The choice I made
Teach a familiar task with steps, practice, and room for human judgment.
The evidence
The Tame Your Inbox capability card, supported by teaching decks and workbooks.

The story

You can hear a great deal about artificial intelligence and still have no idea what to do with it on a Tuesday afternoon. That is the gap I’m interested in. AI Advantage is my practical education program under Influence Results. I want to help people connect these tools to work they recognize and questions they already have.

I’ve been developing lessons, teaching decks, workbooks, and visual resources. One example is a teaching card about taming an inbox: a familiar task that gives someone a way to begin. I care about the sequence of a lesson, the clarity of the example, and the moment when someone can try something themselves. There also needs to be room for human judgment about what to trust and what to check.

The live teaching format belongs to the same program, alongside other ways of learning. The materials are real; the full registration and ongoing learning experience still need work. What I hope comes through is that I’m taking teaching seriously. I want someone to leave with a useful next step and enough understanding to make the tool their own.

A closer look at the thinking
The problem
Knowing an AI tool exists doesn’t tell someone how to use it well.
My thinking
Teach through a recognizable task, with steps, examples, and a place for human judgment.
What I’m creating
Practical lessons, capability cards, workbooks, and the AI Advantage LIVE learning experience.

What I’m creating

I’m developing practical lessons, teaching materials, workbooks, and live learning experiences under AI Advantage. The LIVE conference brings those pieces together in the room.
